Accelerating Your Business: Understanding Business Value


A critical part in being the most indispensable advisor and a better advisory team player is understanding how value is identified and assessed. Though many financial advisors will not conduct this type of assessment work, knowing the concepts, foundation, and process behind identifying value and aligning it to the business owner’s personal and financial goals is essential. This knowledge will pave the way for robust and holistic conversations with business owner clients and prospects. This session will share the definitions and formulas to identifying the business owner’s Wealth Gap, Profit Gap, and Value Gap.

Accepted for one (1) hour of continuing education by CFP Board.
