Estuarine Planting Event at Ulele Springs. Think of it as planting food to feed the Manatees.

Manatees can eat up to fifteen percent of their body weight daily, and with an average adult manatee weighing between 800 and 1,200 pounds... that’s a lot of plant life.

We're partnering with EcoSphere Restoration Institute for a Spring Spruce Up. We'll be planting grasses for the Manatees to eat and doing some shore clean-up, too.

It’s a family friendly – children, grandchildren friendly. And, yes, your feet will get wet.
